Taylor Swift’s support for Selena Gomez at the American Music Awards on November 23 was clear for the world to see, when a camera pan showed the 24-year-old singer moved to tears in the audience as Selena’s performance of her Justin Bieber-inspired epic “The Heart Wants What It Wants” ended.
On a Twitter message she posted , Taylor is hugging Selena as they sat in the AMAs audience. The two girls are presented colorful, while those around them are photoshopped into black and white.
“The rest of the world was black and white, but we were in screaming color,” Taylor wrote, tagging the message to Selena.
Selena gave a raw and emotional rendition of “Heart” at Sunday’s AMAs.
The 22-year-old delivered a somber performance standing lonely on the stage, backed by a montage of images which took the song to an otherworldly place.
Meanwhile, despite an evidently painful breakup with Justin, Selena appears to have no bad feelings toward her ex-beau.
During a pre-AMAs “Red Carpet Radio” event, Selena confirmed that she and Justin are in a good place. Selena Said, “Of course, I love him with all my heart.”
“I thought you were the one,” Selena whispered, at the end of her performance.
Support Selena and hope her become stronger and stronger. If one day Taylor becomes her best friend forever and Justin her lover forever, it might be a happy ending?
